Yes, You Can Ministry

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." – Philippians 4:13

“The fool has said in his heart ‘There is no God’…”-Psalm 14:1

Many people in this world believe that the world came to be from nothing. Science seems to say that “The Big Bang Theory” is a reality, and not a THEORY. Students are taught the Theory as though it were a fact, but it is impossible for scientists to prove that a living creature can come from a non-living environment. I am not here to argue with scientists over facts that have been proven because I am not a scientist, and therefore, am in no way qualified(or smart enough, LOL) to argue about facts that I have little or no knowledge.

Let’s assume for a moment that Charles Darwin, and his Evolution Theory, have been proven beyond any shade of doubt. That still does not prove the non-existence of a loving God. (Charles Darwin was called “The man who killed God”.)

I realize that my explanation of evolution will be way oversimplified because I am not a scientist. Evolution says that over time thousands, millions, of years single celled creatures developed or evolved into complex life forms that we see today on this planet. That still in no way proves the nonexistence of God, or the unreliability of the Bible.

Let’s look at what the Bible says. Genesis chapter 1 verses 3-28,31 says“”Then God said ‘Let there be light’ and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God seperated the light from the darkness. And God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening, and there was morning; one day. Then God said ‘Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it seperate the waters from the waters.’ And God made the expanse and seperated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. And God called the expanse heaven. And there was evening, and there was morning; a second day. Then God said’Let the waters below heaven be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear’; and it was so. And God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good. Then God said ‘Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants bearing seed and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them, on the earth’, and it was so.And the earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with seed in them, after their kind, and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. Then God said ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of heaven to seperate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and seasons, for days and years.; and let them be for lights in the expanse of heavens to give light on the earth’; and it was so. And God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser to govern the night, He made the stars also. And God placed them in the heavens to give light on the earth, and to govern the day, and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning; a fourth day. Then God said ‘Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above in the open expanse of the heavens. And God created the great sea monsters, and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after it’s kind, and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them saying ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth’. And there was evening, and there was morning; a fifth day. Then God said ‘Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind; cattle and creeping things, and beasts of the earth after their kind’; and it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good. Then God said,’Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and the birds of the sky, and over the cattle, and over all the earth; snd over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created Him, male and female He created them. And God blessed them, and said ‘Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth…And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. ”

The earth was created by the Lord over a six day period. Was this a six day-24 hour period? Some people claim that it was due to the reference; morning and evening. But this is only a speculation. There are also those who say in reference to II Peter 3:8, “But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as one day.” that God created the World over a period of time.

The first theory leaves no room for the Darwinian theory. God instantly at once created evrything that we see. There is a lot of fossilized evidence to suggest that this theory is wrong, but evidence is not always conclusive. I do not, nor can anyone else, know definitely whether this evidence proves this theory to be false.

The second theory is that God created the world over a period of time. This theory leaves a little more room for the Darwinian theory, but like the first their is evidence to suggest that it is false.

But that is not the ultimate problem. The problem is that most scientists use the Darwinian theory to prove the Big Bang theory when they are two totally seperate theories. It’s kind of like saying that Barrack Obama’s being Presaident is proof that the sky is blue. HUH

The two things are totally seperate and independent. The sky was blue before Barrack Obama became President, and it will continue to be blue. Whether or not God created the earth in six consecutive 24 hour periods is of little consequence while we are on this earth.(I know some people would call that heretical talk.)

The issue that we must consider is whether or not God’s word is reliable, and as I write this I can tell you without a doubt that it is!

The Word of God is filled with promises, and these promises have never failed! The Word of God is true, but because some people are either too lazy or too scared to “test” these promises they never find out that they can trust God; and therefore, because of their own fears they never learn to put their trust in God.

In Malachi 3:10 God says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour out blessings until it overflows.”

You can as I have learned over the years trust in God, but I don’t want you to take my word for it. Put Him to the test, and I know you will be greatly pleased with the outcome.
