Yes, You Can Ministry

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." – Philippians 4:13

God’s Phone Number

“Call to me, and I will answer you; and I will show you great and mighty things which you know not.” (Jeremiah 33:3)

When I was in college we jokingly called this God’s phone number. If we had a problem we would just “ring up” Jeremiah 33:3; God always answers His children when they cry out to Him in pain.(Let me tell you from personal experience that God will probably not miraculously give you test answers if you have not studied, LOL.) This is a promise from God that we can count on!(We can depend on every promise of God.)

God will sometimes answer us in ways that we cannot understand no matter how hard we try.(That is not to say that we should not try to know God, we should{II Timothy 2:15}, but no matter how hard we try it will always be like a kindergartener studying Thermodynamics.) Remember, God likes to use the most improbable objects to give us answers; HE’S GOD HE CAN DO THAT!

Let’s look at 2 improbable answers that He gave to solve our problem of life or death and freedom or bondage. First, God Himself was born in a manger surrounded by animals, and because He lived among us we can live too,: and not only do we live, but He promised that we could live life to the fullest through Him.(John 10:10) Jesus(God in the flesh) chose to introduce Himself to the world in this way; a way in which no man would ever be able to understand, but that was His way.

Matthew 16:17 – “And Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Blessed are you Simon Barjona because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.'”

Secondly, God chose the cruel Roman cross to give us a final victory over sin and death. He chose a device that was used for torture and death and because of that we can have freedom from sin and eternal life. It makes no sense to our simple minds, but God chose it!

I Corinthians 1:18 – “For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God.”

As you go through your days, months, years; I invite you to keep your Kingdom eyes open, and see the improbable ways that God answers your problems.
