This amazing world
Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”
God loves you!! God loves me!! God loves us all!! When we turn our eyes, and look at Jesus nailed to the cross God is shouting, “I love you, this much!” God Himself came to this earth in the flesh; in the form of man to prove His love. Jesus, God’s Son, was nailed to a cross; forced to die a criminal’s death to prove to us how much God loves us
There is a nursery rhyme, song that is sung by children everywhere that goes like this, “Jesus loves the little children, All the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world!” God proved His love for us by allowing His Son to die for us.
That is not the only, or even the most obvious example of God’s love for us. If you ever need a more blatant example of God’s love just open your blinds, and look at God’s creation. The world that we live in is shouting the love of God. Once we get beyond the smog and congestion that has been created by man we can see clearly how much God loves us. Every summer I have the opportunity to go to the North Georgia Mountains and serve some of God’s precious children in a camp for developmentally disabled kids. In the early morning, if you can get up after the long day before, when you take a look at God’s creation fresh and anew you can hear God saying this is how much I love you. When you see the sun just peaking over the mountains in the early morning haze producing colors that are so splendid it almost hurts your eyes you can hear God shouting, I love you”.
Take for example the Amazon rainforest. In any square mile of the rainforest there is 3,000 different species of vegetation. God did not have to make a world with this much diversity, but He did it because He loves us. God knows that we would have a boring life on this earth unless we had diversity so He created millions of different species of vegetation and wildlife so that we would never get bored.
If you look out your window there may not be thousands of different species that you can see, but there is a lot of diversity in God’s creation that was made for you to enjoy. If you ever want to have a better understanding of how deeply God loves you then go on a nature hike through the Amazon rainforest, North Georgia mountains or even your neighborhood; and if you listen you will hear God shouting, in His still, small voice, “This is how much I love you!”

Father, I thank You for creating such an amazing world for me to enjoy, and I ask that You help me to remember that all the diversity in this world shouts of Your love for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
