Yes, You Can Ministry

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." – Philippians 4:13

Free at last!

Exodus13:3, “Moses said to the people, “Remember this day in which you went out from Egypt, from the house of slavery ; for by a powerful hand the LORD brought you out from this place. And nothing leavened shall be eaten.”

God had told Moses that He would deliver the children of Israel from the Egyptian slavery, and He was good to His Word.(God’s Word is always guaranteed.) Moses commanded the Israelites to remember always what God had done for them. How the Lord had brought them out from Egypt with His might, and they were no longer slaves.

We, too were once living in a “land of bondage”. The Bible says that we we were all slaves at one time before God removed us from that bondage with a powerful hand. John 8:31,”So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine ; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” 33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone ; how is it that You say, ‘You will become free ‘?”34 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.” You may think to yourself, “I’m a good person; I’m not a slave to sin.” Well the Bible says in many places that we have all sinned. Which means in turn we are all slaves. Me, you and everyone! From Pope Benedict all the way to Billy Graham. The Apostle Paul said that he was the chief of sinners, and in Romans 7:22-25 he agreed with the statement of Jesus that he was a prisoner, slave, to sin, and that only Christ could set him free!

Just like the Israelites that were set free from the bondage of the Egyptian slavery we have been set free from the bondage of Satanic slavery to sin. That is not to say that we will never again sin, but that we should not be inclined to willingly commit a sin because we have been freed. The Egyptians did not run back to their slavemasters in Egypt, but continued to God’s Promised Land, and we should not return to our slavery of sin; but keep moving forward the Mansion prepared for us.
