Yes, You Can Ministry

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." – Philippians 4:13

My Confession

As many of you know who follow my blog here on WordPress.com, I have not been faithful lately to what I know to be the true calling that God has placed on my life.
II Timothy 4:5, “But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
Like many of us I was carried away, and consumed by my personal wants and desires, so that I almost forgot the promise of Jesus, Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 “So do not worry about tomorrow ; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
I neglected to seek after God and His righteousness; the blog that I write here is simply a way for me to express my true heart’s desire. The words that are written in these pages may not be a mind blowing revelation to anyone who reads them; they are simply what God inspires me to write from His word. I am not a Biblical scholar, or even an extremely smart person. The words written here are simply my personal thoughts on the Word of God, and you may find them relevant, or you may not even agree with them. They are nothing more than my thoughts, and therefore they are not guaranteed to be without error as the Word of God.
However, it is my prayer that God will use these words to inspire you when facing daily tasks, or that you would consider these words and they would cause you to look deeper into the Word of God for the true inspiration that you seek that can only come from God!
I did not write this post as a pious, “holier than thou”, act on my part; it is simply my way of trusting God at His Word, James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”
Much power, the power of God, is found only when we admit that we are weak, and powerless in ourselves to fight against the Spiritual forces of Satan! Ephesians 6:10, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Father, I thank You for the promise in I John1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I ask Lord that You would remind me always that You can, and have promised to make me clean before You if I will only ask and confess my unrighteousness. No matter how far away I have fallen You will bring me back to Your side.
In Jesus’ name, Amen
