Eternal Security
Deuteronomy 32:50-52-“Then die on the mountain where you ascend, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people, because you broke faith with Me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh , in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel. “For you shall see the land at a distance, but you shall not go there, into the land which I am giving the sons of Israel.” -Moses fell from Grace and was not allowed by God to enter the Promised Land.
Matthew 17:1-3- “Six days later Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.” -Moses was with Jesus on the Mount(Sent from Heaven by God)
Matthew 7:22,23- “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles ?’And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ -It is possible to believe you have salvation, because of works, but not be saved
John 5:24- “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” -Only faith will save us FOR ETERNITY; 10:28, 29–“and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish ; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all ; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” -Nothing(NOT EVEN OURSELVES) can snatch us from God’s hands!
Romans 8:29-“For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren ;”-God predestined everyone to become conformed to the perfect image of His Son, 8:38,39-“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”-Nothing(NOT EVEN OURSELVES) can remove us from the love of Christ!
Ephesians 5:22-33-“Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing ; but that she would be holy and blameless. So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself ; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, because we are members of His body. FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband. -We are married by God to Christ, and what God has joined together no man can separate(Matthew 19:6)!
Philippians 1:6-“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” -God will perfect the work that He started in us until Christ’s return!
Galatians 5:4-“You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law ; you have fallen from grace.” As human beings created in God’s image we have at conception a relationship with Him, but if we try to earn our salvation through the Law then that relationship is severed and the blood of Christ is of no use to us, and we will fall from the grace of God; salvation can only be found through the blood, but when salvation is found NOTHING can separate from that love!
Hebrews10:14-“ For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.”-By His sacrifice Christ has perfected us for eternity!

Father God, I thank You for giving me the assurance through Your Word that I am secure in Your salvation by the blood of Jesus Christ, and I ask that You would comfort any who read this that might know that their salvation in Jesus is safe for eternity.
