I praise God that He has provided this medium to help spread His message of love, and I pray His blessings as we strive to follow the Great Commission.
Last summer I had the privildge of working at a summer camp for developmentally disabled kids. One of the boys from that camp, Stephen Wall, is having some serious medical complications. Please keep him in your prayers.
A friend of mine sent me a request about one of her friends granddaughters, Melena, who has cancer in her eye. The Drs. recently had to remove her right eyeball, but the cancer had not spread to the optic nerve.
There is another cancerous spot in her left eyeball, but because it is small, 1 milimeter, the Drs. believe they can get it with radiation, chemotherapy.
Please pray for Malena and her family and the Drs.
This is an update on the little girl Malena. This email fromMalena’s grandmother was forwarded to me by my friend.
Great news! She saw her surgeon this morning and he said she is healing nicely. Everything is looking good. The oncologist said on a scale of 1-30 of chemo strength, Malena will receive a “2” -which great! Dr. said that she should not have any negative reaction to the chemo.
However, (and there is always one of these or a “but”) there are miniscule tumors in her optic nerve after all (in the removed eye). Chemo will get these and Dr. Hubbard (surgeon) will laser the tumors that are in her left eye – along with the chemo it should take care of all of them !
We are praising God and full of thanks to Him and to you, our friends!! Keep the prayers up for Malena. We appreciate all of your thoughts, concerns and most of all PRAYERS!!
